"The institution which tells the history of Sapporo"
▽ History & Highlight:
"Sapporo clock tower" is the symbol of Sapporo, and the important
cultural property of the country. In 1878 (Meiji 11), it was built as a martial-arts hall by proposal of
the first Headteacher of the past and old Sapporo Agricultural College

▽ History & Highlight:
The building of the Neo Baroque type of the U.S. style built in 1888
(Meiji 21). This building has borne administration of Hokkaido as this
government building for about 80 years until the new government building of the present Hokkaido agency
is made.
Red brick government building
Since the building of the production of a brick building is the characteristic,
I am called by the nickname of the "red brick government building."

tells the history of Hokkaido is exhibited.

★ "Historical Village of Hokkaido"★
▽ History & Highlight:
Historical Village of Hokkaido is the "field Palazzo" which
moves from various parts of Hokkaido the historical building which tells
the industry of three periods, and the life and culture in which I result in early stages of Taisho and Shouwa, reverts, and carries out preservation exhibition from Meiji where exploitation of Hokkaido started.

★"Hoheikan" [Histrical Guest House]★
▽ History & Highlight:
The wooden Western style building built as a "hotel" in 1881
(Meiji 14) making full use of examples of traditional craftsmanship of
Japan. We are Emperor Meiji whom is what the Meiji gouvernement built and
the first lodger visited by inspection of Hokkaido.

★ "Hokkaido University botanical garden"★
▽ History and Highlight:
The botanical garden located near the "Hokkaido govemment"
which is a little distant from the campus of Hokkaido University. It opened in 1886 (Meiji 19).
Area 13.3ha and 4000 sorts of plants are observed, and since ｔhe botanical garden is rich green
in the oldest "lilac" in Sapporo carried from the United States
in 1890 including the big tree of the Elm to inside being seen etc. and
stilly, I am called "green oasis."

the history of a dairy of Japan widely, Iｔ will commemorate the 50th anniversary of foundation of a company, and it will be built in 1977 (Showa 52).

▽History and Highlight：
The Museum about the building of brick, and beer only [ in Japan of a symbol

9) repeated many changes, and was taken over to present "Sapporo Beer"
by the Hokkaido Bureau of Development,
The Museum became a name of the present "Sapporo Beer Museum",

I completed in 2005 in the city park made after burying 270 tons of waste which Japanese-American sculptor Isamu Noguchi designed.

A national park only [ in the way located from the central part of
Sapporo in about 20-km Minami-ku, Sapporo-shi ]. The inside of the large
site of about 400 ha is divided into three zones, such as the Takino forest
zone and a mountain stream zone.

"Onsen" (Hot Spring)
★"Jozankei Onsen"★▽ Highlight:
The Jozankei onsen in the place between mountains of Minami-ku called "inner room" in Sapporo
Josankei onsen
We can go in about 1 hour by car from the inside of Sapporo, and is in a very convenient place. We hear that Hot Springs opened with the history for 1866 (Keio two years) and 150 years, the temperature of those with 56 place and hot water of a sodium salt ghost spring and the fountainhead is as high as 60 degrees - 80 degrees, and, as for spring quality, the body gets warm easily. Accommodations, such as the present and a hotel, are a little more than 20 size.
It is a famous place of the autmun leaves of Sapporo.
